LNG: Potential for the Great Lakes Region

The Great Lakes Maritime Research Institute invites you to attend the third annual meeting to discuss the potential for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) potential in the Great Lakes region. We are slating experts to discuss LNG uses and the safety culture. A second panel of speakers will discuss their experiences as current users. After lunch, the afternoon panel will include experts on the potential benefits of using LNG, themed "greening the supply chain". We had such a good response from last year's forum, that we already have had companies offer to help sponsor the end of session reception and lunch.

An exciting slate of speakers is lined up (download a draft agenda). The meeting will bring together potential LNG fuel users from the mining, agricultural, trucking, rail and maritime sectors. Participants from the LNG/equipment and pipeline industries, along with LNG development companies will be in attendance to further discuss LNG with potential users. We are inviting city and state representatives from the Great Lakes region, along with fire marshals and first responders to better understand the embedded safety culture. Visit here for registration and sponsorship.
